Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

Our content

The Goal Grinders name and logo, the Mr. Bolt character, our illustrations and icons, the app design, our written content, and the software behind the service are owned by Goal Grinders Tech or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or use them commercially without our written permission, except as the law allows.

Your content

You keep ownership of the goals, notes, and images you create or upload. We store and process them only to run the app for you, as described in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Third-party assets

Typefaces and open-source components are used under their own licences. See our Open Source & Asset Licenses page for the list. We do not use stock photography or licensed third-party imagery in the app.

Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe content in the app infringes your copyright, send a notice through Legal & Privacy, then Privacy Choices in the app, and mark it "copyright notice". Include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
3. Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough information for us to locate it.
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

We review notices, remove or disable access to material where a notice is valid, and notify the person who uploaded it. If you need a postal address for a formal notice, request it through the same channel and we will provide one.

Counter-notice and repeat infringers

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice through the same channel. Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright are terminated.

Trademarks

"Goal Grinders" and our logos are our marks. Do not use them in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our written permission. Other names and marks mentioned in the app belong to their owners.
