Cookie & Tracking Policy

What we store in your browser

Goal Grinders uses browser storage for two things:

1. Your sign-in session. Our hosting platform keeps the token that keeps you signed in. Without it you cannot use your account.
2. A temporary goal draft. While you work through the new-goal steps, a copy of your in-progress draft is kept in session storage on your device so you do not lose your work if you reload. It clears when you finish the steps or end the session.

Both are essential to the service. Neither is used for advertising or profiling.

What we do not do

• No advertising cookies, no advertising pixels, no retargeting, and no cross-site advertising tracking.
• No session replay or screen recording, and no capture of keystrokes, form entries, passwords, or payment details.
• No sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and no data brokers.
• No advertising identifiers collected by the app.

Third-party services that load with the app

• Base44 (hosting platform). Accounts, authentication, database storage, server functions, and platform diagnostics.
• Google Fonts. Typefaces loaded from Google's font CDN; Google receives the technical request data needed to serve the font, including your IP address. The fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
• OneSignal. Push notification delivery. If you enable notifications, OneSignal receives a device or browser subscription identifier, basic device and browser information, and technical data such as your IP address, so the notification can be delivered. We do not show a notification permission prompt unless you turn notifications on yourself, and we do not use push for advertising.
• AI and transcription providers. Used only for the optional AI features you request, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking, so there is no advertising consent banner to accept. Your browser and device settings always let you block or clear cookies and storage, and you can submit an opt-out or deletion request from Privacy Choices in the app.

Global privacy signals

Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not run advertising trackers, there is no advertising activity for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. Opt-out requests submitted through Privacy Choices are honored under applicable law.

Changes

We will update this policy if we add a tool that changes what is stored or tracked. Material changes will be notified in the app.
